CLASSES

Skinner Releasing Technique : In SRT we cultivate letting go of unnecessary holding in our physical selves. Through guided imagery, music and hands-on partner studies the practice facilitates a deep kinesthetic experience of movement. It is an experiential, intuitive approach which utilizes imagery as a powerful tool for transformation. Alexander Technique : A re-education of our movement patterns, allowing us to carry out our tasks with greater freedom, comfort and poise. By maintaining fluid relationship between head, neck and torso, practicing this technique brings a quality of softness, listening, and presence to our dance.
* Included in the workshop, Robert will give private lessons during diner and lunch periods.
Flow Vinyasa Yoga : simply means a union of movement and breath. We begin with a short meditation, followed by a warm up, building to a more strenuous practice followed by a warm-down and relaxation. The focus is to connect the deep stretches to your breath.CI - 1 The art of communication : Through a global listening and an involvement of our centre, we will explore the different qualities of the point of contact (dense, fluid, light, organic, delicate, deep...) in order to refine and clarify our intention in this art of communication.
CI - 2 Elements and practice : We will visit contact-improvisation’s basis in slowness, and then we will explore gradually taking more risks. CI - 4 A kinesthetic dialogue with nature : Let us pass through the doors of our senses to discover the intimacy of our internal magic. With precise exercises taken from a variety of somatic approaches we will use elements of the natural environment in support of our CI exploration.
I - 3 Group Score : We will explore a group partition of instant composition, in an atmosphere of movement laboratory.
